I have been busy binging The Pitt, working on a special project for the IAA on Ageism, and trying to figure out this Substack thing, so naturally, I am late to the game with my thoughts on “that New York Times article”, the one titled 'The Gen X Career Breakdown'. But its coming.

The always wonderful to read Neal Moore pretty much encapsulated a lot of my thoughts in his article on his Substack. Now, I sort of think that Neal and I sit on the same side of the boat here. while he states that he got into the AI game as a youngster, at age 42, I arrived when I was 57. I quickly saw that AI was going to be that thing that made my age actually an unfair competitive advantage, given that I have survived multiple shifts in technology in the media and advertising game.

I was mostly right.
